The word religion comes from the latin 'ligio' which means 'to connect'. St David's weekly worship welcomes us all into an experience of deep connection: with our God, our community and our selves. The liturgy at St David's is designed to carry us, like a boat, into the ocean of the holy. We sing ancient and modern hymns, experience prayers from a range of traditions, are challenged and stimulated by meaningful reflections and listen together to the silence of this sacred space and the rich music of our magnificent organ.
St David's is awake to the need for inclusive language and this is reflected in our meditations, prayers and music. Children are most welcome with a special focus given to them in the main worship and a sunday school program which operates throughout the year (apart from school holidays).
Worship is at 10am every Sunday morning with special worship services held at other times . |
